Remembering Our Loved Ones: International Overdose Awareness Day Memorial On August 31, 2026, we invite our community to gather in remembrance, support, and hope as we honor the lives of those we have lost to drug overdose. Their lives mattered, and we will never forget them. No one walks this grief alone, and all are welcome.
If you have lost a loved one and would like to include them in our memorial display, please send their photo, name, date of loss, and a few sentences about who they were to info@alexandraslightofhope.org by August 29, 2026.
Event Schedule (August 31, 2026): 4:00 p.m. onward: Memorial photo display open for viewing in Alexandra’s Light of Hope Cafe, accompanied by a warm cup of coffee and fellowship. 6:15 p.m.: Memorial service led by Pastor John Neyman.
